Interview

For this class, I interviewed Lloyd Stone, a Production Designer in the film industry based in Vancouver. The main focus of the conversation was to discuss his own experience and the path he took to join this industry. The interview lasted around 20 min and it was a very good insight on how everything operates there. Lloyd was able to tell me how things usually work regarding the skills one needs to be able to enter the business as well as staying in it. I already had some past knowledge concerning the things he mentioned; however, this experience made me feel sure about what I knew, especially since its first hand information. Even if the interview was pretty concise, it did help me form a more well structured idea of what I need to be able to join the film industry and encouraged me to seek these opportunities for myself.
